Salina Halliday, MS, ATC
Men's Soccer Athletic Trainer
Salina was hired as a Michigan State University Athletic Training Intern in fall 2011. Her current assignment at the Jenison Field House Athletic Training Room oversees Men's Soccer. Salina is currently completing her graduate degree thesis at the Eastern Michigan University. Her thesis work involves comparing the kinematics of the wrist during back handsprings with various bracing techniques. Salina completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in May, 2009.
Vanessa Gomez, MS, ATC
Women's Rowing Athletic Trainer
Vanessa arrived at Michigan State University in the Fall, 2012 as an Athletic Training Intern assigned to Women's Rowing in the Jenison Field House athletic training room. Vanessa recieved her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2011 and attained her masters degree in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania in 2012. Vanessa completed her graduate clinical assisgnment at Northhampton Community College. She is a BOC certified athletic trainer and a certified massage therpaist by the NCMTMB.
Andy Bliz, MS, ATC
Football Athletic Trainer
Andy arrived at Michigan State University in the Fall, 2012 as an Athletic Training Intern assigned to the Duffy Daugherty Athletic Training Room and Football. Andy completed his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in 2010 and his graduate degree from Eastern Michigan University
in 2012. He was assigned to work with the Huron football teamfor two years in all aspects durng his graduate clinical assignment. He is a BOC certified athletic trainer.
