Undergraduate Athletic Training Students

Athletic Training Students are involved in educational and clinical rotations throughout their two year undergraduate program at Michigan State University. Clinical rotations under the direction of Clinical Preceptors rotate within campus athletic training rooms of Duffy Daugherty, Jenison Field House, Munn Ice Arena, Jack Breslin Student Events Center, and IM West. Off-campus sites involve local High Schools, Family Medicine and Emergency Room clinics, Physical Therapy clinics, MSU Clinical Center, local or regional hospitals, Optometery, and a variety of populations and patients. Graduate Athletic Training Students

Michigan State University's Athletic Training Program has a number of graduate assistantships available through athletic department positions, outreach placements, and research appointments. Masters students at MSU have the opportunity to earn a degree in Athletic Training or any of the other sub-disciplines of Kinesiology. Doctoral students earn a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in a major sub-discipline of Kinesiology, a cognate in Kinesiology, or an out of area cognate in related fields such as epidemiology, anthropology, physiology etc. Click Here for more information.
